10/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Head of the Italian delegation at the Committee of the Regions of the EU and regional councillor (Forza Italia) for the Frioul - Vénétie Julienne region, Isidoro Gottardo, has been appointed as President of the European Popular Party committee. He was elected in a fringe meeting at the Council of Regions plenary session. He will be replacing Reinhold Bocklet, who has been carrying out the role of the first Vice President of the Committee of the Regions...
