Ministers expected to try and extend EU role in post-war Iraq - sixth cooperation Council between EU and Russia

Brussels, 10/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - The role that the EU will play in Iraq's reconstruction will certainly dominate the discussions at the General Affairs and External Relations Council next Monday in Luxembourg. This sensitive issue will be discussed by Ministers during lunch, as well as the situation in the Middle East and North Korea. The Council will examine the Balkans, EU/Russian relations and CFSP.
