EP approves 2004 calendar with ten plenaries in Strasbourg and four in Brussels

Strasbourg, 09/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - In Strasbourg on Wednesday the European Parliament approved the draft calendar of plenary sessions for 2004 proposed by the Conference of Presidents of the political parties, removing the plenary scheduled for Wednesday 28 April to Saturday 1 May inclusive, for the investiture of the new Commissioners and for the European Parliament to meet symbolically on the day the new Member States join.
