Further EUR 15 million for Palestinian victims of Middle East crisis

Brussels, 09/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has approved the decision to grant humanitarian aid of EUR 15 million to the Palestinian victims of the Middle East crisis. The funds, allocated by ECHO (European Community Humanitarian Aid Office), will finance operations to supply food, medicines, water, and medical care for the most vulnerable Palestinians in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, as well as in Jordan, Lebanon and Syria.
