Appeal from more than 200 MEPs for agreement on Galileo - ongoing discussions at ESA but still no agreement

Brussels, 09/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - "Galileo, it's time to act": more than 200 MEPs and national MPs have signed this appeal to Heads of State and Governments to take, "without delay all appropriate measures to enable the European Space Agency Council to make it's a committed contribution to Galileo". This appeal was signed by the Presidents of the PES and EPP, Enrique Baron and Hans-Gert Pöttering, as well as the nine EP committees, the President of the EP "Sky and Space" intergroup of...
