Mr Fischler announces temporary ban on fishing for cod and flat fish in Baltic Sea

Luxembourg, 08/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, in Luxembourg, Commissioner Franz Fischler announced to Agriculture and Fisheries Ministers of the EU that the European Union was planning to adopt emergency measures aiming to ban fishing for cod and flat fish in the Baltic from mid-April to the end of May.
