08/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - A translation error slipped into our English bulletin, Thursday 3 April p 14. It should have read, "Commissioner Vitorino confirmed that the Commission would be proposing the introduction of biometric data for visas and residency permits for foreign nationals and insisted on the fact that this would also involve passports for European Union citizens".
