Romania closes negotiations on free movement of capital chapter - "Important sign", says Puscas

Brussels, 08/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - Romania recently concluded accession talks on the "free movement of capital" chapter. It has thus closed 17 chapters out of a total of 31. According to the agreement signed on Monday in Brussels during a negotiating meeting at deputy level between Romanian negotiator Vasile Puscas and the EU15 ambassadors, Romania pledged to adopt and to implement the whole of the acquis communautaire concerning the free movement of capital by 1 January 2007, except for...
