French PPR - PINAULT-PRINTEMPS-REDOUTE is on the point of selling PINAULT BOIS MATERIAUX (turnover EUR 1.28 billion in 2002) for the sum of EUR 550 million. Four offers are being studied: that of the British industrial group WOLSELEY and that of the Irish group CRH and of the investment funds PAI - PARIBAS AFFAIRES INDUSTRIELLES and BARCLAYS PRIVATE EQUITY associated to ABN AMRO CAPITAL.
