26/03/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Youth Orchestra will be commemorating its 25th anniversary on 27 March. The orchestra consists of 140 musicians under the age of 24 who come from all over the EU. It is funded by the European Commission, the EP, Member State governments and the private sector. A European tour began on 26 March in Bruges and will include ST Petersburg to mark the city's 300th anniversary.
