Reform of legal system, administration and economy at centre of access partnerships with Bulgaria and Romania

Brussels, 26/03/2003 (Agence Europe) - As we indicated yesterday (p 7), the European Commission updated the accession partnerships on Wednesday for Bulgaria and Romania (for Turkey, see other article). These documents specifically identify and by closely following the "road map" adopted by the EU in 2002, the priority objectives for the short and medium term on which these two countries have to focus their efforts from now till the end of 2004 in order to meet the accession criteria.
