15/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - At its general assembly, EuropaBio, European association of Biotech industries, elected Feike Sijbesma as new president. This 43 year-old Dutchman is a member of the board of the group DSM, active in the chemicals, pharmaceuticals and agri-food sectors. He succeeds, for two years, Erik Tambuyzer, vice-president of Genzyme Europe, who remains a member of the board of the European association.
