Greenlight to multiple transaction in Swedish waste management sector

Brussels, 15/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has cleared the two-phase transaction in the Swedish waste management sector. SITA SA (French Suez group) and Sydkraft AB (the latter solely controlled by German energy group E.ON AG) will jointly control SITA Sverige AB (a subsidiary of SITA SA) and simultaneously SITA Sverige and Sydkraft AB will jointly control EcoPlus AB, which up to now has been soley controlled by Sydcraft.
