ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) information technology

The British IT services company LOGICA and Anglo-Dutch CMG are discussing possible merger. The new entity would align 23,000 employees for a pro forma turnover of over EUR 3 billion in 2001. If successful, the operation would take place through a share swap after which the LOGICA shareholders would hold 60% of the capital compared to 40% for CMG.
