11/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday the Council is going to propose a compromise on the selection process for appointing the Director and vice Director of Europol. The Danish Presidency has proposed that the Europol Management Board submits to the Council a list of candidates for pre-selection. The Council will then decide on unanimity. There is not yet any agreement on this issue, which is one of the main points to solve in the proposed amendment for the regulation on Europol staff....
