Brussels, 11/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - With the adoption, on Thursday, of the recommendation by Alejo Vidal-Quadras Roca during the plenary session in Brussels, the European Parliament adopted the Council's common position on the proposal of directive relating to energy efficiency in buildings (second reading, codecision), thus avoiding conciliation procedure (see EUROPE of 19 September, p.17).
