04/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - French Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin declared on Wednesday before the National Assembly that he considered "unacceptable" the proposals made by the European Commission on reform of the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP). "France", he said, "will not accept the destruction of its fishing fleet, mainly in its non-industrial form, with the inevitable human suffering and social difficulties that would follow".
