Mandate of UN mission in Bosnia extended until 15 July

Brussels, 04/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday evening in New York, the UN Security Council unanimously adopted Resolution 1421 that extends the mandate of the UN mission in Bosnia (UNMIBH) until 15 July, thus giving ten more days in which to find a compromise between the US demands that its nationals should have immunity from the new International Criminal Court (ICC) and the determination of other members not to water down the ICC.
