Ariel Sharon stops European high level mission meeting Yasser Arafat

Brussels, 04/04/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon refused to authorise the Spanish foreign minister Josep Pique (President of the EU Council) and the EU High Representative for CFSP, Javier Solana from meeting the Chairman of the Palestinian Authority, Yasser Arafat, in Ramallah on Thursday.
