French THOMSON MULTIMEDIA is to acquire 34% of the capital of MEDIAMETRIECABSAT (turnover EUR 35.8 million in 2001 with 316 employed), held so far by MEDIAMETRIE and VIACCESS (FRANCE TELECOM group). The financial details of the operation were not given.
