04/04/2002 (Agence Europe) - In Namur (Belgium) on 20 April the Fondation universitaire pour la coopération internatinale au développement (FUCID), the Commission Justice et Paix and Entraide et fraternité/Action Vivre Ensemble are orgainsing an awareness raising day on "From Porto Alegre to Monterrey - towards what kind of development?". Pierre Jonckheer MEP will be taking part in the debate over the potential links between the development visions outlined from Porto Alegre to Monterrey, and Pino Carlino from the Belgian Confédération des Syndicats Chrétiens (CSC) will discuss the role of the trade unions with regard to the process from Porto Alegre to Monterrey.
