ECB leaves interest rates unchanged - Mr Duisenberg worried by rise in oil prices and its impact on inflation

Brussels, 04/04/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Central Bank's board of governors (ECB) decided on Thursday to keep the main interest rates unchanged. The minimum lending facility applied to the main refinancing operations remains at 3.25%, its rate in November last year. The marginal lending facility and the deposit facility will remain unchanged at 4.25% and 2.25% respectively.
