Commission's plan could give consumers false hopes, says CECRA

Brussels, 21/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Council for Motor Trades and Repairs (CECRA) says that the Commission's draft car dealership regulation that will replace the current scheme on 1 October 2002 will give "consumers wrong expectations" since they will expect "car prices will decrease 20% and more because the system would be opened to more competition".
