Commission grants 120 million euro to DRC over ten years, thus acting on resumption of co-operation with the country

Brussels, 21/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is to benefit from some 120 million euro under development co-operation between the European Union and this country of the ACP group (Africa/Caribbean, Pacific). Poul Nielson, European commissioner for Development, signed the country's national indicative programme on Monday, planning instrument for aid over the next ten years.
