Strasbourg, 21/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament has called for European activities linked to space to "only serve peaceful objectives", while stipulating that this "may include military uses for peacekeeping operations". This specification was added in plenary against the opinion of the rapporteur Konstantinos Alyssandrikis (GUE), who then voted against his report.
