Mr Caudron's draft report proposes changes to 6th Research Framework Programme for vote on first reading at European Parliament in Strasbourg on 24 October

Brussels, 04/09/2001 (Agence Europe) - French Socialist MEP Gérard Caudron presented his draft report on the 6th Research Framework Programme (FP6) to the European Parliament's Industry Committee on Monday 27 August. The deadline for tabling amendments is 18 September and the Committee will vote on the report on 10 October, after which it will be considered by the Parliament's plenary session on 24 October, barely 6 days ahead of the next Council of EU Research Ministers.
