France's IT services company SILICOMP (EUR 41.5 million in the first half of 2001) has bought up two companies, one in France and the second in the United States. The first, ACTOLL, specialised in IT systems for centralised motorway and city toll services and forecasts a turnover of EUR 2.6 million in 2001 for a workforce of 37. The second, AXEAN, specialised in medical IT applications and predicts a EUR 9 million turnover in 2001 for a workforce of 48.
