The UK's polymer group BRITISH VITA (turnover of 487.7 million in the first six months of 2001) will sell its 46% stake in the US quoted plastics group SPARTECH. Analysts estimated that the sake could be sold for about 190 million pounds sterling. SPARTECH has a market capitalisation of around 418 million pounds sterling.
