ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) chemicals

The German chemical company HENKEL is hoping to sell off its subsidiary COGNIS (specialised chemicals) by the end of the year and is in the process of negotiating with the SCHRODER VENTURES finance company. Economists believe COGNIS is worth around EUR 3 billion.
