ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) aluminium

France's aluminium company PECHINEY has announced that it is reorganising its aluminium business into two new divisions. "Sheet, thin strip and specialities" will have a turnover of EUR 450 million with a workforce of 1,500, whereas "Assembly, automobiles and common laminates" will have a turnover of EUR 750 million and a workforce of nearly 1,600.
