Commission proposes to extend aid for the transport of fisheries products from the ultraperipheral regions of the EU for one more year

Brussels, 04/09/2001 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, the European Commission adopted a draft Regulation aimed at extending for one year (ie until 31 December 2002) the EUR 15 million aid scheme for the transport of certain fisheries products from the Azores, Madeira, the Canary Islands and the French overseas departments of Guyane and the Réunion.
