Presidency to organise a meeting between experts and Ministers at the informal Council on the issue of modern technology

Brussels, 04/09/2001 (Agence Europe) - The informal Agriculture Council scheduled for 16/18 September in Alden-Biesen in Belgium will focus on a debate (to be held on Tuesday 18 September) on the development of biotechnology that will bring together experts from the five continents and the EU's Agriculture Ministers.
