New chapters have been closed (including environment and free movement of persons) during negotiations on Wednesday

Brussels, 27/06/2001 (Agence Europe) - Substantial progress has been achieved on Wednesday in the accession negotiations with the candidate countries from the former "Helsinki group" (Slovakia, Romania, Lithuania, Latvia, Bulgaria and Malta) during a special session (not initially foreseen) of the negotiations called by the Swedish Presidency.
