The Dutch consumer electronics group PHILIPS has decided to sell to CEC - CHINA ELECTRONICS CORPORATION the manufacture and the design of its mobile phones. The plan will bring the suppression of 1,235 jobs, including 1,142 on its French site in Mans alone. PHILIPS already produces mobile phones with CEC in the context of a joint subsidiary in Shenzhen.
