According to the Wall Street Journal, the Swiss financial group UBS is in the process of taking over GESTION PLACEMENTS TR, the funds management division of the ROYAL BANK OF CANADA for between Canadian $300 and 400 million. This branch manages Canadian $31 bn in assets.
