Brussels, 23/01/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Economic and Social Committee (ESC) is meeting in plenary session on 24 and 25 January in Brussels, under the chairmanship of Göke Frerichs and with the participation of the president of the EU Industry Council, Anna Ekström. The session will also be marked by a policy debate on the programme that President Frerichs had presented to the plenary in November, when he was elected as president of the Committee.
