Strasbourg, 23/01/2001 (Agence Europe) - With the adoption, during its emergency debate last Thursday, of a resolution on the permanent International Criminal Court, the EP appeals to the seven Member States and to the candidate States that have not yet ratified the Rome Convention to do so as soon as possible, without rejecting the competence of the Court for war crimes, as authorised in Article 24 of the Convention.
