The British constructor TAYLOR WOODROW will acquire its fellow national BRYANT, specialised in detached houses, for a total amount of GBP 556 million. TAYLOR WOODROW is offering 80 Pence in cash and 0,72 new TAYLOR shares for each share. BRYANT was in merger talks with BEAZER in December, but these negotiations have since been abandoned, the construction group PERSIMMON having made it known that it was prepared to acquire BRYANT on condition that it abandoned the negotiations.
