23/01/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Swedish EU Presidency is organising for Wednesday 24 January in Malmö (Sweden) a conference on the theme "Welcome to Work Life 2000!" Anna Diamantopoulou, European Social Affairs Commissioner, and Mona Sahlin, Swedish Minister at the Ministry of Industry, as well as 700 delegates (including representatives of all candidate countries) will take part at the conference on the labour market, the working environment, work organisation and diversity in working life. Conclusions of the work will be forwarded to the European Council on 23 and 24 March 2001 in Stockholm.
