According to the Financial Times, the German group E.ON is in talks with three minority shareholders of the gas distributor RUHRGAS to try to take control. E.ON is already the main shareholder in RUHRKOHLE which itself has an 18% stake in RUHRGAS. The three shareholders in question could sell it an extra 17%, allowing it to increase its share to 35%.
