The Canadian group POWER CORP has announced the acquisition, via its subsidiary GESCA, of the French-language newspapers of the group HOLLINGER. It acquires a third of Le Soleil de Quebec, Le Qiotidien de Chicoutimi and Le Droit d' Ottawa, or a total circulation of 150,000 a day.
