Brussels, 02/11/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission should make, next Wednesday, proposals to authorise the Member States to apply a reduced rate of excise duty on certain fuel oils. It should notably propose to extension of tax breaks granted in France, Italy and the Netherlands on diesel for road hauliers.
