ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) logistics

The Australian group MAYNE NICKLESS will sell PARCELINE and INTERLINK EXPRESS, its assets in the United Kingdom and Ireland to GEOPOST INTERMEDIATE HOLDINGS (turnover of EUR 328 million in 1999), logistics subsidiary of the French LA POSTE for EUR 327 million. The parcel and logistics branch of LA POSTE recorded a turnover of FF 13.4 billion in the 1999 financial year.
