Following a ruling by Court of Justice, Commission postpones decision ordering recuperation of aid to Tubacex (Spain)

Brussels, 02/11/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Commission decided to postpone the negative decision it ruled in 1997 with regards to the measures in favour of Tubacex SA, a non-welded stainless steel tube producer established in Llodio, in the Spanish Basque country. In its 1997 decision, that was challenged by Spain before the Court of Justice, the Commission concluded agreements for reimbursement made between Tubacex and Fogasa (wage guarantee fund) in 1992 and 1994 and the agreements for the...
