According to the Sunday Telegraph, BRITISH TELECOM is considering the sale of its 26% stake in the French CEGETEL to VODAFONE for close to GBP 7 billion. VODAFONE already has 15% of CEGETEL and 20% of SFR, the mobile phone division of CEGETEL.
