ESC elects its new President, two Vice-Presidents and Bureau on Wednesday - Opinion on plenary agenda

Brussels, 17/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Economic and Social Committee will be meeting in plenary session on Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 October mainly to elect its new Committee President, the two Vice-Presidents and the twelve members of the Bureau. This ceremony will take up the whole of Wednesday. Work will be resumed on Thursday with a very full agenda.

The Committee is expected to adopt seven own-initiative opinions concerning: 1) the role of the EU for a pharmaceutical policy...
