The Anglo-Norwegian group NYCOMED AMERSHAM (contrast products for radiology) is preparing to sell 10% of its stake in APBIOTECH - AMERSHAM PHARMACIA BIOTECH (laboratory equipment and products for research into biotechnology) and float it on Nasdaq. After this sale, NYCOMED will still hold a 45% stake in APBIOTECH, the remainder in the hands of PHARMACIA & UPJOHN.
