Commission approves modification of aid to Olympic Airways

Brussels, 05/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has agreed to aid to Olympic Airways, authorised in 1998, being used for the transfer of the Greek airline company to the new airport of Spata. The aid, granted in the form of State guarantees was initially to serve to purchase new aircraft. Last July, the Greek Government requested that it be able to use part of the guarantees to finance the investments necessary to transfer the airline company to the new airport of Spata. It...
