ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) insurance

SCOTTISH LIFE chose ROYAL LONDON as a "strategic partner" for its conversion into a bank. The operation totals GBP 1.1 billion. The new entity will have an annual premium income of around GBP 1.9 billion and will be one of the leaders in life insurance and pension schemes in the United Kingdom.
