Brussels, 03/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - In the aim of increasing its influence, until now rather marginal, in the accession negotiations to the European Union, the European Parliament is dedicating a significant share of this first October session to enlargement, one month before the adoption by the European Commission of the "regular report" on the state of progress of the negotiations with each of the candidate countries.
